My 2 Cents for Life....

I've been procrastinating for the past 2 years to write a 'Title Post', so here it is:

Ever wondered where you're gonna end up in a decade? Well. I have. It seems as if it was yesterday when I was walking to face the discipline committee for a 'crime' that I hardly remember committing. Dreaming away, having my whole like in front of me, with the sun as the limit. A few bumpy roads, broken hearts, a few setbacks caused by the road less travelled. Today, here I am paying for things that i probably don't deserve, never wanted, let along imagine. Is it true that Karma's a bitch? Well it seems that way at least. Why do we go through hardship? What does Nature have in its master plan? I was speaking to a young friend yesterday. I did mention that swords are sharpened with stones and not velvet. But how long before its sharpened?

Has the Divine given up on me? As tough as I seem from the outside, those near and those dear know the tofu I am inside. So whats with all this exaggerated manliness and hard core no nonsense outlook that going on dude?,one may ask. I've come to learn the hard way that populist moves and behavior is a simple recipe for failure.Well, that's probably got to do with the Immortal that I Idolise, reading and listening to his speeches and forums have made me a much more effective person professionally.Although far from what I imagined it was gonna be like,a void remains in other regions. Since the proof is in the pudding, guess only time can tell.

Rantings of a Master....

Weird that i chose this title, simply because its the male opposite of a mistress. Have you ever been in a situation where you're filling in for some arse who cant seem to get his act together. Chasing a dream, neglecting other in the process and getting away with promises. Is that truly a road to succeed? What ever happened to i need you by my side to take on the world? No more old fashioned happy endings? Or is it an excuse to keep your loved ones 3 feet away? What ever lame reason you have bag of bones, I've become a victim of your irresponsibility. Well, i would wish you best of luck in your endeavours, but I doubt that's going to be of any help for you. With an attitude and self destruction programmed since birth, you're heading south little wanker, that's for sure. The fact that I'm posting this says how much you've messed in my routine life. The only reason or salvation you have is you know who. I may sound like I'm kidding, but you should try me. And if you ever think you're going to be Scot-free if you mistreat you know who or neglect her after this, I'll surprise you. Last words for this post that's a ranting, GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER.....

The Precious Metal Gold
“We have gold because we cannot trust Governments.” President Herbert Hoover

Gold Characteristic

Gold is a chemical element which can only be found and not manufactured. Gold is known for its rarity, softness, density and good in electrical conductivity. Until today, a total of 161,000 tonnes of gold have been mined in human history, as of 2009 (National Geographic: "The Real Price of Gold" by Brook Larmer). This is roughly equivalent to 5.175 billion troy ounces. The following are some gold's characteristic:

Chemical symbol: Au

Atomic no.: 79

Atomic weight: 196.967

Specific gravity: 19.32

Tensile strength: 11.9

Melting point: 1,063 degree

Hardness (Brinell): 25

Karat Gold Conversions

Karat is a measurement of the purity of gold in an alloy. Each karat represents a ratio of 1/24 purity, indicating how many parts out of 24 are pure. Therefore, 24 karat gold is pure, while 18 karat gold is ¾ gold and ¼ alloy (Dictionary of international trade: handbook of the global trade community by Edward G. Hinkelman). Below are some example common used in bullion: -

24-karat = 0.995 to 0.000 pure (fine) gold

22-karat = 0.916 pure (fine) gold

18-karat = 0.750 pure (fine) gold

14-karat = 0.583 pure (fine) gold

10-karat = 0.4167 pure (fine) gold

Gold Weights and Measures

By tradition gold is quoted and traded in troy ounces, these having been adopted by the U.S. Mint for the regulation of coinage in 1828. Unlike 'normal' pounds and ounces there are 12 troy ounces to the troy pound rather than 16. But a troy pound weighs less than in imperial pound (0.82 British/US pounds).

Cutting through all that nonsense a troy ounce is approximately 0.031kg or 31 grams.
